Police arrested Willie Jones Monday and charged him with murder in the shooting death of a 40-year-old man earlier that day in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.
Police said the victim, Albert Griffin, was shot in the 300 block of Angier Avenue following an argument with Jones.
Witnesses told police the victim ran a short distance after being shot and died while Jones fled in a turquoise pick-up truck.
