(Updated): Boyfriend Charged in Fatal Shooting of Swallow Circle-Baywood Teen

Atlanta police have arrested the boyfriend of a teenage girl who was found wounded in the Lakewood area late Friday and who later died, police spokesman Ofc. John Chafee said Saturday.
Edward Johnson, 18, was charged with murder, according to an e-mail statement from Chafee.
Police found the girl with a gunshot wound to her side around 9:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of Rhinehill Road, Chafee said.

The girl, identified as 17 years old in a Fox 5 Atlanta report on the shooting, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she later died.
