Anti-Crime Vigil for Patrick Cotrona Today

Three-hour vigil to call attention to safety and remember May Avenue homeowner who was shot and killed in May 25 robbery.

EAST ATLANTA — A neighborhood candlelight vigil and anti-crime rally is scheduled today, May 31, in remembrance of Patrick Cotrona, the May Avenue homeowner gunned down in a robbery last Saturday.

The vigil is planned from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 567 Flat Shoals Ave. SE.

Organizers Nate Minor and Sinéad Quinn, who have established a Facebook page about their ongoing efforts, ask that everyone wear something yellow in color and bring candles and lighters for the vigil.
