UPDATED: Altanta Police Find Missing Alzheimer's Patient

Randy Poppins was last seen at noon on Oct. 16.

Update 8:02 a.m. Oct 17: APD Zone 6 officers found Randy Pippins at Charles Allen Drive and 9th Street. He was examined by Grady EMS and then transported back to his family by Zone 6.

The Atlanta Police Department has issued this missing person's alert:

Randy Pippins has been reported as missing. He was last seen around 12 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 100 block of Memorial Drive in southeast Atlanta.

Pippins is 60 years old and has reportedly been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown shirt with a Coca Cola emblem on it, black Adidas sneakers, a blue ball cap and a bracelet with his personal information on it.

Pippins is 5’8” tall, weighs 200 to 215 pounds, has black hair with small twists, brown eyes and a large bump on his forehead. 

Anyone with information on Pippins' whereabouts is asked to contact the Atlanta Police Department's Adult Missing Persons Unit at 404.546.4235 or call 911.
