520 Pounds of Marijuana Found Near School
The hoard of drugs was discovered in a bullet-riddled truck in Peoplestown on Sunday morning
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the sound of gunshots near D. H. Stanton Elementary School led police to a significant amount of marijuana on Sunday morning.
Police reportedly are seeking the source behind a bullet-riddled truck in Atlanta's Peoplestown neighborhod at the intersection of Martin Street and Farrington Avenue.
And while a gunshot victim has not been discovered, police did find 520 pounds of marijuana in the truck. It was in the form of 52 bales weighing approximately 10 pounds each according to the news story.
