Are you a member of the Grant Park Conservancy? If not, now is the time to join! If you love programs like the Grant Park Farmers Market (held every Sunday at Milledge Fountain from 9:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.) and the Summer Shade Festival (held this year on Aug. 25 and 26), or just enjoy , we hope you will consider supporting the Grant Park Conservancy by becoming a member.

From now until July 9, we're presenting new members with a special offer. We're partnering with the Atlanta Braves and area restaurants and business to bring you an amazing package full of Grant Park value. When you purchase a Membership for $60 or higher, you'll receive:

Individual memberships are $35 and include two Braves tickets for the July 15 game (a $20 value) plus all the discount coupons mentioned above. Your membership purchase pays for itself with rewards and it's tax deductible!

We need your membership so we can continue bringing your favorite programs, replace the aging and threatened tree canopy, repair and replace inadequate lighting, maintain and repair other park infrastructure and preserve a piece of Atlanta's history. We also want to bring you more kid and family-friendly activities, but we need your help!

Please become a member of the Conservancy today! Questions? Contact us at info@gpconservancy.org or call 404-521-0938, extention 2.

Ms. Chambers is the Grant Park Conservancy's director of operations.

At Six Feet Under they have been collecting money for the Grant Park fountains for quite a while. Does this money go to the Grant Park conservancy? How much has been raised so far and how much more is needed? Those old fountains are neat and it would be great to see them working again, or at least not crumbling.
