Old Fourth Ward Gets Scary for Halloween - PHOTOS

Zombies, skeletons, spiders and simulated cemeteries are a part of the Halloween scene in the Old Fourth Ward this year. Some of the local residents have turned their homes into visual haunted houses; creatively displaying zombies and skeletons.

After receiving a 'must see' referral from Mrs. Mattie, an Old Fourth Ward resident and crossing guard at the Intown Academy. I headed over to the zombie display across the street from the now closed David T. Howard High School and was amazed at the gory sight I saw. There were life size zombies dressed in clothes and shoes, some covered in blood. Body parts were scattered on the steps and across the yard. A bloody zombie with only his torso and head left are tied to a pole... It is amazing how much this front yard looks like a real scene from a horror movie! Check out pictures of this scene and other Old Fourth Ward residential Halloween decorators.
