Real Atlanta Housewife, Boost Mobile, Team Up for Food Bank Event

The community event at the Boost Mobile Store, 1175 Moreland Ave. SE, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is designed to help the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

WOODLAND HILLS — Reality TV star Kim Zolciak, will be in in Southeast Atlanta Oct. 8 as part of Boost Mobile's  “Shrink Hunger” campaign.

The community event at the Boost Mobile Store, 1175 Moreland Ave. SE, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., is designed to help the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Founded in 1979, ACFB procures more than 45 million pounds of food and groceries each year and distributes it to more than 600 non-profit partner agencies that serves people in need across 29 metro Atlanta and North Georgia counties.

Boost Mobile, which focuses on the pre-paid and no-contract mobile phone segment, has pledged to donate $5,000 to the ACFB. For every local resident who participates in the event, Boost will also donate an additional meal to feed an Atlanta child.

Zolciak, gained fame as a member of the Real Housewives of Atlanta series on the Bravo cable channel, will give out complimentary homemade popsicles from Atlanta’s popular King of Pops to the community.
