PATCH VOICES: Helping Out One of Our "Little" Neighbors

The Agave Dine Out Benifiting Little's Food Store (Save Little's Dine Out) Monday, Jan. 6, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

by Jack R. Sobel and Tim Pinkham

Although many neighbors and friends have rallied to help this neighborhood landmark, Little's Food Store still needs help to continue serving the neighborhood while their kitchen is closed during repairs and help in assisting with general operating costs.

The Agave Dine Out Benifiting Little's Food Store (Save Little's Dine Out)
Monday, Jan. 6, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Agave restaurant will be donating 30 percent of the night's total sales and accepting cash and check donations for anyone wanting to help more.
(Customers giving additional check donations made out to Little's Food Store on the night of the dine out, will be rewarded with a $10 agave gift card - available to use at a later date.)

Please help us get the word out to the entire community and let's make this miracle a reality for a business that has been in our community since 1929.

Reservations available at 404-588-0006 or online at www.agaverestaurant.com.

If you can't make the night's Dine Out, consider donating to the link below, which was posted to Nextdoor Cabbagetown:

"Little's Food Store (our awesome neighborhood grocery) is in need of our help, but has raised almost $14,000 of their $20,000 goal on IndieGoGo (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/please-help-save-little-s-food-store). For every $25 given you'll get a $5 Little's Food Store gift card. More importantly, you'll be helping keep one of the most "Cabbagetown-y" of Cabbagetown business alive and kicking."
