Doc Chey's Raises $4K for Grant Park Fire Station No. 10

Since its inception in 2007, HomeGrown Charities has raised $178,000 for local nonprofits, $101,000 of which has directly benefitted local fire stations.

GRANT PARK — Happy New Year! HomeGrown Restaurant Concepts' HomeGrown Charities arm had a very successful fundraising year in 2013 with $25,600 raised to benefit local organizations.

Breakfast with Santa, held the first two Saturdays in December at Doc Chey’s Grant Park and Osteria 832, respectively, collectively raised a record $10,000. Proceeds directly benefitted the Grant Park Station No. 10 and the historic Virginia Highland Fire Station No. 19.

Other events hosted by HomeGrown Restaurant Concepts in 2013 included Morningside Mile on Sunday, Oct. 20, which raised $8,000 for Virginia Highland Fire Station No. 19, and Osteria 832’s anniversary parties which raised $6,000.
