Service Project Honoring Martin Luther King, Jr.

Help make lunches for hungry children

Please join Action Ministries Smart Lunch Smart Kid, AmeriCorps VISTA, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Advisory Council, Jackson Memorial Baptist Church and volunteers across Atlanta to make 200 sack lunches for local children in need. Lunches will be distributed to kids who reside in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Fulton Industrial Boulevard area.

Supplies Also Needed:
  • 20 loaves of bread
  • 200 slices of cheese
  • 200 slices of turkey
  • 200 brown lunch bags
  • 200 Ziploc bags
  • 200 bags of chips
  • 200 fruit cups/pieces of fruit
  • Monetary donations also welcomed
