Seed Swap and Potluck with Basic Seed Saving Demo by Ira Wallace!

Share your seeds, your knowledge, and your enthusiasm for different plant varieties with other gardeners and farmers. Connect with folks who might be your neighbors, or who might be from anywhere in our bioregion. We’ll be swapping all types of seeds, including heirloom seeds, seeds you save from your own plants, and extra seeds you may have purchased. This is an informal, relaxed event and beginners are welcome. During the Swap join Ira Wallace, Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, and learn to save seeds from your (non-hybrid) beans and tomatoes. They offer the beginner seed saver a good chance of success. This workshop/demo includes tips for bean and tomato seed saving at home, plus an opportunity to see some of the many beautiful and tasty heirlooms a gardener might grow and save.
