Coan Middle Funds 4 Books Fundraiser

Our school library needs your help!

With all the budget cuts in recent months, there simply is not enough
money to purchase all the necessary reading and research materials for the students
at Coan Middle School.

The average copyright date of our materials is 1985 – imagine everything that’s happened in the world since then. In addition, while our goal is to have 10 books per student in the library, we have only 5 per student, meaning sometimes children are not able to check out the book they need.

To help us raise funds to improve the library, we have signed up for an online fundraising program, created by our respected book vendor. It’s called Funds4Books,
and it allows us to keep 100 percent of the donations for the purchase of new books, eBooks, DVDs and audio CDs. Yes, every single penny donated is for us to spend on materials!

In addition, our library materials arrive with complete electronic catalog records, fully processed and shelf ready. Even shipping is included at no extra charge. These additional services typically add up to hundreds of dollars in savings for the school, and eliminate hours of labor.

We are very excited about the potential of this innovative fundraiser, and now we’re asking our local service organizations and businesses to help us reach our goal.
