Adult Intro to Sewing
Learn sewing basics with fun and easy projects.
Two days (6/10 & 6/24) 2 hours each day
Day 1
Project: Vallance or Throw
-Learn the basics of using the sewing machine: threading and understanding the machine, winding a bobbin, etc.
-Cutting and sewing fabric, add your creative touch, and finish the edges.
Day 2
Project: Decorative Pillows or Chair Cushions
-Review the different stitches on the sewing machine.
-Students will learn to top stitch.
You are encouraged to bring your own sewing machine to learn how to use it. Sewing machines are available for students without one ($12 to rent for both classes).
Supply list will be provided upon sign-up.
