Congressman John Lewis to Sign New Tome at Bound to be Read Books

U.S. Rep. John Lewis (D-Atlanta)) will be at Bound To Be Read Books in East Atlanta Village on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, to sign copies of his highly acclaimed graphic novel, "March: Book One."  The event will run from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

A No. 1 New York Times bestseller and included on Publisher Weekly’s Best of 2013 list, March: Book One is a vivid first-hand account of John Lewis’ lifelong struggle for civil and human rights, meditating in the modern age on the distance traveled since the days of Jim Crow and segregation.

Bound To Be Read Books is a fiercely independent neighborhood bookstore at 481-B Flat Shoals Avenue in East Atlanta Village. This signing event is free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to support the local economy by purchasing their books on the day of the event.
