Atlanta Cyclorama Presents A Discussion Of Women's Roles In The Civil War

Women participated in the Civil War in more ways than people realize, some even disguising themselves as men in order to fight. Noted author and historian Dr. Elizabeth D. Leonard is coming to the Atlanta Cyclorama to share some great stories and talk about her book, All The Daring Of The Soldier. Her presentation will be a revelation to those who think the women of that era were all home cooking and darning socks! If you enjoy learning about history, belong to a book club, or want an interesting "ladies night out," you'll want to attend this FREE event at 6:30 pm on Thursday, August 22.
