2nd Annual KMA Health & Back to School Fair

Health & Back to School
Fair all set for Saturday July 26 in Edgewood Community of Atlanta.



The event is being hosted by KMA
Community Development, an affiliate of Kingdom Ministries of Atlanta, Inc. A
number of health professional groups and community service organizations
including Alzheimer’s Association,
Georgia Relay, T D Wellness, Seedco, Georgia Telecommunication Equipment
Distribution Program, Get Covered America
and others will be participating
and providing important services to attendees.



Services at this the 2nd
Annual KMA Health & Back to School Fair will include disease prevention education,
supportive services, screening/testing and giveaways of school supplies to
Families and students respectively. Live entertainment will add a festive
flavor to this family focused event which will take place on July 26, 2014, from 10am to 6pm at the Coan
Recreation Park
.

“The health of our families
and communities plays an important role in maintaining a buoyant economy of our
City. I appeal to business leaders to support our initiative” remarked Michael
Clay, Executive Director of KMA Community Development. He also stated that a
Team of Volunteers will continue their Pre
Health Fair community outreach to the community this Saturday, July 19, 2014.



In addition to the Health
Fair and Back to School Giveaways four Community Service Awards will be presented
to outstanding achievers in the following categories;  Distinguished Citizen, Youth of the Year,
Business of the Year and the Rev. Tommie S. Clay Scholarship.
