The Atlanta Department of Watershed issued this advisory regarding potential traffic delays connected to planned water main repairs:
Contractors will install new water mains at the following locations, reducing traffic to a single lane. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when traveling through the work area and to use alternate routes whenever possible:
- Flora Avenue NE between Hardee Street and LaFrance Street in Edgewood
- Ashley Avenue NE at Ralph McGill Boulevard in Old Fourth Ward
- Linwood Avenue NE between North Avenue and Williams Mill Road in Poncey-Highland
- Metropolitan Parkway SW between Deckner Avenue and Claire Drive
- Deckner Avenue SW between Metropolitan Parkway and Sylvan Road
- Metropolitan Parkway SW between Deckner Avenue and Claire Drive
The work will take place from Monday, Jan. 28 to Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 .
