Zoo Atlanta determines sex of Sumatran tiger cubs

The pair of at , have been identified as a boy and a girl, the Grant Park attraction said.

The cubs, Sohni and her brother, Sanjiv, were named by zoo donor Larry Westbrook, after his grandchildren.

Sohni is Hindi meaning "beautiful" and Sanjiv can mean "love," "long life" or "reviving."

The cubs’ sexes were determined during a veterinary checkup on Aug. 17.
