  • VALENTINE’S DAY AT THE LIBRARY

When/Where: Wednesday the 9th at 10:30am at theand also on Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:oopm at the .

Why Go: Your children, ages 2-6 years old, will have fun at the East Atlanta Branch Library making Valentine’s day cards to share with the ones they love.  And Love is in the Air at the DeKalb County Gresham Library where school aged children (5-14 years old) will make a special Valentine craft to share.

Pricing: Free. Call Gresham Library or stop by to register for the event.

When/Where: Through March 20, 2011 at Pemberton Place next to the World of Coca-Cola.

Why Go: This unique two hour and twenty minute “in-the-round” show, combining live theatre with special effects, is not recommended for children under five years old - but it is highly recommended for everyone else in the family!

Pricing: $30.00 to $125.00.

  • ANNUAL BGCMA FINE ARTS EXHIBITION

When/Where: Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm (through February 25, 2011) at The Youth Art Connection. It is suggested that you call before visiting.

Why Go: This annual fine arts exhibit by Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta members not only motivates the BGCMA students to develop their creative skills, but might inspire your children to do the same.  Afterward, head to the just down the road for a treat - or stop in before-hand for a breakfast sandwich.

Pricing: Exhibition is free.

  • BABIES, BABIES, BABIES

When/Where: On Thursday the 10th or on Saturday the 12th from 10:30am to 11:30am at .

Why Go: You'll love that Zoo Atlanta’s popular Mommy & Me programs are now available in one day classes. Your little ones (ages 2-3 years old) will love to learn about the animal babies at the zoo.

Pricing: $18.00 for Members for one adult/child pair ($9.00 per person) and $24.00 for Non-Members for one adult/child pair ($12.00 per person). A reservation and payment is required in advance.

  • KIDS YOGA CLASS

When/Where: On Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 11:15am at .

Why Go: A great way to start your Saturday, take a class while your children (ages 6 years old and up) attend their own class.  This ancient practice of exercise, breath work and meditation is terrific for all ages.  

Pricing: Drop in cost for Kids Yoga is $10.00 and $14.00 for adult yoga classes.
