Family Bets

When/Where: Through April 3rd, at twelve Inman Park restaurants.
Why Go: So it’s not specifically a family event - but you have to eat...Sit outside, enjoy the Spring weather and grab an early dinner with the family in Inman Park. Buy a $1.00 raffle ticket for a chance to win a party at and support Restaurant Week’s beneficiary, Open Hand
Pricing: Choose from three-course dinners ranging from $15.00 to $35.00 - most restaurants will also allow you to select from their regular menus.

When/Where:  The Carter Museum is open from 9:00am to 4:45pm, ON Saturday and 12:00pm to 4:45pm on Sunday.  
Why Go: If you haven’t visited (or even if you have) since its remodeling and re-opening in October, 2009 - a beautiful Spring weekend is the time to visit.  Enjoy the museum and then a stroll around the grounds.
Pricing: Children 16 and under are always free.  $8.00 - Adults; $6.00 - Seniors (60+), Military, and students with IDs.  If you have a Bank of America/Merrill Lynch card, this is a Museums on Us weekend and your visit will be free for the whole family - just bring your card and a photo ID.

  • LADYBUG GIRL EVENT

When/Where: Saturday at 11:00am, . 
Why Go:  It’s a quick trip over to Decatur’s Little Shop of Stories to meet author’s Jacky Davis and David Soman.  This New York Times bestselling pair will be presenting their latest - Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad. Awesome!
Pricing:  Free.

  • IMPROV KIDS SHOW 

When/Where: Saturday at 1:00pm, .
Why Go: Presented on the first Saturday of each month, this improv show is performed by kids and for kids of all ages.  Fun for the entire family!
Pricing: $6.00 at the door.

  • WRESTLEMANIA READING CHALLENGE

When/Where: Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am in the Auditorium.
Why Go: Watch the WrestleMania Reading Challenge finalists answer trivia questions posed to them by WrestleMania Reading Challenge spokespersons and WWE Superstars - Big Show®, Rey Mysterio®, Kofi Kingston®, Hornswoggle® and WWE Diva Eve™.  Meet these wrestlers and also novelist and event judge, Joan Bauer - whose novels will be a source of the trivia.
Pricing: Free.

When/Where: Sunday, 6:30pm at the Georgia Dome.
Why Go: The Reading Challenge didn’t quite tame your (or your children’s) wrestlemania? Then this is the night, hosted by The Rock, for you. WWE is committed to family-friendly (PG content) entertainment and this is their main event!
Pricing: $28.00 and up.
