Binders Art Supplies & Frames Joining Ponce City Market

Binders Art Supplies & Frames is coming to Ponce City Market in fall 2014.

Jamestown Realty announced the deal in a press release. In it, the company's chief operating officer, Michael Phillips, said: “We are committed to creating an exciting, urban and culturally connected experience at Ponce City Market.  Binders perfectly suits that commitment, allowing the breadth of the community - from fine artists to families – access to tools that allow them to express themselves creatively.”

Binders, which will take up about 10,000 square feet in the same building where Dancing Goats Coffee Bar is temporarily set up, is a family-run art supply, gifts and frame retailer. It has a Buckhead location and holds regular classes, workshops, galleries and demos.

In the release, Binders president-owner Howard Krinsky said: “Ponce City Market promises to become one of the cultural epicenters of Atlanta, and we are thrilled to be a part of it. Each of our stores has its own personality and contributes to the surrounding neighborhood in various ways. Jamestown’s acumen for new urban redevelopment at Ponce City Market will further enhance our relationship with the local art community.”
