VersionOne Opens New Office In Old Fourth Ward

Software company expands to new digs to accommodate growth.

by Patch Staff

VersionOne, an Alpharetta-based software firm, said Friday it opened a new office in Old Fourth Ward to support its growth, be closer to Georgia Tech's talent pool and be more environmentally conscious by providing green commute alternatives for its workers.

The 6,500-square-foot space in the Ponce Springs Lofts at 620 Glen Iris Drive will operate as a satellite office and meeting center for the company's Atlanta-based employees.

"We've experienced steady growth and a corresponding need for the city's most talented software professionals," Robert Holler, VersionOne's co-founder and president said in a statement.

"There's tremendous technical and creative talent to be found around Georgia Tech and surrounding areas. Our new Midtown [area] office will give us an advantage in attracting those candidates while reducing travel and related costs for employees who live in or near downtown Atlanta."

The new offices already has 10 staffers based there. The company, which started in 2002 with just two employees, has grown to 100 workers with demand creating the need to hire more.

We spotted her last night (Thursday) just before the storm hit and chased her down May to CliftonRead More then up to Glenwood, where we think she turned into that development under construction across from the school. The storm swept in, and we lost her ... she was clearly panicked. Been back on the hunt this morning with no sign. Please call or text us at 423-653-5636 if you spot her!!!
