Avondale Cycles to Peddle Bikes in Old Fourth Ward

Avondale Estates bike shop is relocating to Atlanta.

OLD FOURTH WARD — Avondale Cycles has shuttered its doors in Avondale Estates and plans to set up shop here in Atlanta.

The bike shop, which operated out of a 1,600-square-foot facility at 2754 East College Ave., is reopening March 4 at 151 Sampson St. NE.

The new facility, which will be called Atlanta Beltline Bicycles, is about 2,500 square feet. The larger space was a key factor in the decision to relocate, owner Benjamin Stimis said.
