Atlanta Habitat For Humanity Hires New V-P

Melinda Kelleher leads resource development

Melinda Kelleher was hired as vice president of resource development for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity.

Before joining Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Kelleher, who started Feb. 21, was with the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta and oversaw that group's development and marketing initiatives.

Kelleher, who has 16 years experience in fundraising.

“Melinda is a proven relationship-builder,” Larrie Del Martin, Atlanta Habitat's president and chief executive said in a statement. “She’s hit the ground running, and we welcome her expertise in strategy, stewardship, and management."

Atlanta Habitat, founded in 1983, is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. The non-profit group works with volunteers from religious groups, civic organizations and businesses who help build houses for qualified homebuyers who buy those homes via no-interest mortgages.

To date, Atlanta Habitat has built more than 1,100 homes.
