The Biters Hit The Tabernacle

Band, touring to promote new EP, comes to Atlanta.

by Eric Antell

The Biters opened the event at the Tabernacle, which also featured Lindi Ortega and headliner act, Social Distortion.

Right out of the gate, the Biters proved to be no stranger to getting a crowd excited!

Playing one explosive hit after another, this band was a real life example of "How to Energize a crowd!"

Having recently released their fourth EP, Last of a Dying Breed, on Pipeline Records, this band keeps pumping out great songs, with excitement, feeling, and attitude.

I was told by the band after the show that theywill be touring in Europe early 2013.

On the road to support, Legendary South California punk band Social Distortion, the Biters have proved to be "True Entertainers."

Social Distortion headlined the show, playing songs the crowd loved.

The set was very tight, but didn't quite meet up to the energy standard, set by the Biters at the beginning of the night.

Mr. Antell, of East Atlanta, is the drummer for the band, the Atagonizers ATL.

We spotted her last night (Thursday) just before the storm hit and chased her down May to CliftonRead More then up to Glenwood, where we think she turned into that development under construction across from the school. The storm swept in, and we lost her ... she was clearly panicked. Been back on the hunt this morning with no sign. Please call or text us at 423-653-5636 if you spot her!!!
