Zoo Homeschool Academy

HomeSchool Academy is a unique program that allows students to explore animal and science concepts in a fun, interactive environment. Programs are grade-appropriate and include games, activities, Zoo tours and animal encounters.

K- 2 Creature Classification - From mammals to reptiles, animals have different features that make them unique. Investigate these characteristics to see who lays eggs, who has scales and which animals have 6 legs!

3rd-5th Ecosystem Expedition - Go on a worldwide expedition to uncover the characteristics of different ecosystmes. Learn what makes each ecosystem unique and see which animals call these places home!

6th-8th Saving Species - Delve into the lives of endangered species. Discover which animals at the zoo are endangered and the different things that impact these animals. End the semester by learning how you can help save endangered species.

9th--12th ZSI: Zoo Scene Investigation - It's time for some detective work! Solve zoo mysteries using various forensic techniques such as DNA and hair analysis. Each month features a different mystery that requires a different forensic technique.
