Swedish Christmas Market

This annual event, hosted by the Swedish Women's Education Association-Atlanta, draws many international and American families from across the metro area and is becoming increasingly popular for holiday shoppers. Vendors will be selling baked goods, holiday flower arrangements, traditional and modern handicrafts and delicious homemade foods. There will be a performance by Vasa Drangar at 1 p.m. and the Lucia procession (with Lucia wearing her candle-lit crown) at 12:00 p.m. (children’s) and 2:30 p.m. (traditional). There will also be a Swedish Café with traditional drinks and foods. The Swedish School of Atlanta is hosting different kids' activities and there will be photo opportunities with Santa Lucia! (Santa Lucia Day is December 13!)

Admission to the Julmarknad 2011 is adults $5, youth 12-18 $2 and kids under 12 free.

Taking MARTA is recommended. The Trolley Barn is one block from Inman Park/Reynoldstown station.
