The Nissan NEXT Innovation Center Tour is a rare opportunity to explore the wide variety of cutting-edge innovations that Nissan brings to the automotive industry. At the event, Atlanta visitors can discover the future of innovation via:

  • Technology that customizes the experience to you
  • Transparent multi-touch interactive displays
  • Augmented reality explorations of the 2013 Nissan Altima
  • 360 degree video displays
  • Interactive social media displays

Most importantly, visitors will have a chance to drive a wide variety of Nissan vehicles including the 2013 Nissan Altima, the most innovative Altima ever, and the Nissan LEAF, the first mass-produced 100% all-electric vehicle. The Nissan NEXT Innovation Center Tour helps consumers get a glimpse of the latest driver-focused technologies before they hit the market.

Nissan will also be giving away a $500 gift card to someone from the Atlanta area who visits the event. Once the 15-city tour concludes, someone who test-drove the car will be awarded a 2013 Nissan Altima.

I went downtown to Centennial Olympic Park last night in search of the Nissan Next Tour only to discover it wasn't there. A person cleaning the restrooms told me she thought it moved to Union City last Sunday. I paid to park and had a nice stroll thru downtown, but the patch needs to update its listings of Things to Do. What a disappointment.

We spotted her last night (Thursday) just before the storm hit and chased her down May to CliftonRead More then up to Glenwood, where we think she turned into that development under construction across from the school. The storm swept in, and we lost her ... she was clearly panicked. Been back on the hunt this morning with no sign. Please call or text us at 423-653-5636 if you spot her!!!

This is a sales pitch, and not a very good one. This development is well over 2 miles from GrantRead More Park; even the map on the developer's site doesn't correctly show where the subdivision is. And where it is, is across Glenwood from Burgess-Peterson ES, where Glenwood is 4 lanes- good luck ever making a left out of there. But if you want to be able to hear I-20, I guess it's a great location.
