Meet the Authors

Meet two of Atlanta's finest writers and poets in one place in one afternoon.

Collin Kelley is a novelist, poet and playwright from Atlanta, Georgia. His second novel, Remain In Light (Vanilla Heart Publishing), is a finalist for the 2012 Townsend Prize for Fiction. His critically acclaimed debut novel, Conquering Venus (Vanilla Heart Publishing), was released in 2009. His debut collection of poetry, Better To Travel, was nominated for the 2003 Georgia Author of the Year Award, Kate Tufts Discovery Award and Lambda Literary Award.

David-Matthew Barnes is the author of the young adult novels Mesmerized, Swimming to Chicago, and Wonderland, the suspense thriller Accidents Never Happen, the popular women's novel Ambrosia, and the rock ’n’ roll love story The Jetsetters. He is the author of over forty stage plays that have been performed in three languages in eight countries. His literary work has appeared in over one hundred publications.
