Book Discussion: Eat the City

Author Robin Shulman will present her new book, Eat the City: A Tale of the Fishers, Foragers, Butchers, Farmers, Poultry Minders, Sugar Refiners, Cane Cutters, Beekeepers, Winemakers, and Brewers Who Built New York, which shows that basic food production has always been part of the development of not just New York, but all American cities.

To help illustrate that point, the H. Harper Station chef Jerry Slater plans to offer a menu comprised entirely of food from Atlanta's urban farmers.  His three course meal is priced at $35 per person.

Shulman will sign copies of her book, which will be on sale courtesy of A Cappella Books.
