The artistic gnomes at the Cabbagetown Clay and Glass Works invite you to the kick-off party of their Holiday Sale on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Come meet the artists and enjoy some holiday cheer and refreshments. Browse through the displays which include gifts in all price ranges — unique handmade glass and ceramic ornaments, sculptures, functional pottery, as well as books, stuffed animals, hand-sewn goods and jewelry. Be one of the first to purchase the new CCGW gnome t-shirts.

The studio, located at 588 Woodward Ave. SE (on the corner of Boulevard and Woodward, between Memorial Drive and I-20), will continue to be open throughout December, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. until Dec. 23.

The CCGW is a non-profit, artist-run cooperative studio which also offers classes to the public in wheel throwing, hand-building for kids or adults, raku workshops, and glass jewelry making.

A fun event is to book the studio for you and your friends for an evening of “messing in the mud,” to celebrate any milestone in your life, or just to enjoy each other’s company as you create items from clay.  For more information about these opportunities, please contact Devanie Schilpp at 678.778.7082.
