Georgia Public Broadcasting
Volunteer Need: answer calls and take pledges from GPB viewers and listeners during the GPB’s television membership campaign in March or radio membership campaign in April. GPB volunteers will receive a catered meal provided by Carole Parks Catering Company, free parking and training!
How Often: flexible, one time or several times during March and April
Hands on Atlanta Discovery, Parkside Elementary at 685 Mercer Street
Volunteer Need: Committed volunteers needed to adopt a school and help with all of active and developing programs. The goal is to get as close to one-to-one volunteer to student ratio as possible to allow for more individualized attention and to develop relationships between students and adult volunteers.

Volunteer Need: Responsibilities of a mentor include one phone call a week, two activities a month, group community services projects, and ongoing trainings.

Family Fun Fitness Day volunteers
The Museum School
Volunteer Need: Volunteers, including law enforcement, also are needed to help with the fun-filled day packed with fun, interactive activities, exercise opportunities, celebrity appearances, health information and giveaways.
When: March 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
