Volunteer Need: Four volunteers needed to help with the operation of the judo division of the Georgia Olympic Championships at Warren-Holyfield Boys & Girls Club at 790 Berne St. SE.
When: June 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Nicholas House at 830 Boulevard SE
Volunteer Need: Volunteer with the children during Nick’s Activity Hour. Watch a movie, play games, help with homework or do an arts and crafts project!
How Often: every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Help Students with Special Needs
The Orion School
Volunteer Need: Volunteers must be physically able to work with active students, be willing to provide 3 references and give a new background check or submit a recent one.
How Often: Commitment of minimum of two hours per week the same day and time each week for the remainder of the semester needed when volunteer begins. This consistency is necessary for the students.
36th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival Volunteers
Atlanta Jazz Festival in Piedmont Park
Volunteer Need: Volunteer "Jazzteers" needed for a variety of positions including but not limited to; Festival Greeters, Backstage Assistance, and Set-up/Breakdown. Volunteers also needed before the festival weekend for smaller events in April and May.
How Often: depends on volunteer area
Volunteer for Salvation Army's Project Homeless Connect
The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta Area Command
Volunteer Need: Volunteers needed for a three- to six-hour shift during Project Homeless Connect to help in one of the following capacities.
(First shift is from 9 a.m.-noon. Second shift is from noon-3 p.m.)
- Set-up (1st shift) / Check-in
- Check-in / Clean-up (2nd shift)
- Bounce house Supervisors
- Food Servers
- Clothing and Blanket Table Supervisors
- Comfort Kit Distribution (Bags of toiletries, etc.)
When: April 10, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Ben Marion Institute for Social Justice, Inc.
Volunteer Need: day to day office operations,filing, program and workshop preparation, web research and data base input and any other wisdom and interests and skills you are willing to share with a very committed, passionate group of folks in a warm and fun loving, people caring office environment.
