 The Whitefoord Community Program is in need of volunteers to assist with its Child Development Program and Beyond School Hours program. The children range in ages form 6 weeks to 4 years old. Volunteers are needed to help Angel Hearts International Inc. handle the Shamrock ballooon in the Children’s Hospital St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16. The parade begins at 9 a.m. in downtown Atlanta. Full details


Groups of about eight to 25 volunteers, ages 8 and up, are needed throughout the year to improve the quantity and quality of community gardens in Atlanta. Activities include planting, produce collection, clean-up, plant rescues, plant shows and many other fun projects. The schedule is flexible, Monday through Saturday. Most shifts last three hours.
