Trash Collection Schedule Changes for Thanksgiving

The City of Atlanta will not change trash or recycling pickup schedules for Thanksgiving. DeKalb is asking for trash a day early. Private haulers vary by neighborhood.

The for Thanksgiving. DeKalb and some private haulers do.

DeKalb pickups normally scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 24 will happen on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Normal Friday pickups are cancelled on Nov. 25.

DeKalb's recycling schedule is unchanged.

Waste Management is closed Thanksgiving Day, pickups are delayed by one day.
