Reynoldstown Collecting Goods for Thanksgiving Baskets

Donations of canned and non-perishable goods needed to make baskets to give to elderly, shut-in neighbors.

The Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League is seeking donations of canned goods and non-perishable foodstuffs to create 50 Thanksgiving Baskets for elderly, shut-in and other neighbors in need.

Reynoldtown volunteers will be putting the baskets together Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lang Carson Community Center, 100 Flat Shoals Ave.

The baskets will be delivered to neighbors from noon to 1 p.m.

If you'd like to donate non-perishable food and canned goods, you may drop them off at the Lang Carson Community Center through Saturday.

You also may drop them off at ParkGrounds coffee shop, 142 Flat Shoals Ave.

In addition to the food, the RCIL also is in need of boxes to in which to put the baskets for delivery, as well as egg cartons.
