Update to the story: Found owner of dog, neighbor claimed him today by coming by the house. However, he does not want the dog and hopes he can find a new owner. I don't want the dog as I am not in a position right now where I can take care of it. I am holding onto the dog for a few days in hope of finding a new owner and then plan on bringing it to the Humane Society or another pet place. Any recommendations?
This pup Labador Retreiver was found in the 500 block of Daniel Avenue near the East Lake Golf Course.
Neighbors have made several attempts to locate owners of dog, which appears to have been abandoned by owner.
- Age: Maybe 6 to 8 months
- Behavior: Well behaved and sweet, appears to be slightly trained already.
- He was abandoned and may have a few fleas and ticks. He's been roaming neighborhood.
