New Home For Lost EAV Pooch

Lucy adopted Saturday by Good Samaritan's co-worker

After a week of  searching to place a lost dog with her owner, athe pooch has been adopted by a co-worker of the East Atlanta Village man who found him.

Brandon Ivey, who found the black dog last Friday off Moreland Avenue at Eastland Road, placed postings on Craigslist and Flickr seeking to reunite her with her owner.

But nothing came of those efforts, for the dog he named "Lucy."

"They're a very cute family with another dog and a 20 month-old daughter, house in the suburbs with a big fenced-in backyard," Ivey wrote

"It should be a very good home for her. Sad to see her go, but I think she'll be very happy there."
