KICK OFF A SUMMER READING PROJECT

Where/When: , 481 Flat Shoals Ave, Se, Atlanta, Saturday, July 23, 12:30 p.m.

Why go: This is a read aloud book discussion program, geared toward young males, ages seven to ten. Get your young men involved with “The Reading Project” before school gets back in session.

Pricing: Free/could vary with book purchases.

 

GET KIDS TO TRAIN LIKE AN ATLANTA FALCON

Where/When: , 275 Centennial Olympic Park Dr, NW, Atlanta, Sunday, July 24, 2 p.m.

Why go: Geared towards ages eight and under, this event allows kids to see how they stack up against NFL players by working out with Atlanta Falcons trainers.

Pricing: Included with museum admission.

 

ATTEND A ZOMBIE PROM!

Where/When: Fabrefaction Theatre Company, 999 Brady Ave., Atlanta, Friday, July 22, 8 p.m.,  Saturday, July 23rd at 2 p.m. and 8pm and Sunday, July 24th at 3pm

Why go: This show’s premiere features high school and college actors, and could be for your “older kids,” “Zombie Prom” features original songs in the style of 50s hits.

Pricing: Adult tickets: $20/Children or student tickets: $15.

 

TEACH KIDS TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES!

Where/When: The Breman Jewish Heritage Heritage & Holocaust Museum, 1440 Spring St., NW, Atlanta, this ongoing exhibit runs through September 4th

Why go: Give kids a creative edge and get them all to express themselves by driving over to Spring Street. Featured authors and illustrators are Andre Carrilho, Robin Preiss Glasser, Barney Saltzberg and Lynn Munsinger.

Pricing: Adults: $12/Seniors (62 and over): $8/Students: $6/Children ages 3-6: $4/Children under 3: free
