GET “FEARLESS” WITH YOUR FAMILY’S HEALTH

Where/When: Piedmont Park, 400 Park Dr., NE, Atlanta, Saturday, July 30, starts at 8 a.m.

Why go: Take the time to drive over to Piedmont Park to participate in something that could benefit you and your family’s health. Fearless Philanthropy is sponsoring this event with some of the activities that will include a 5k Run/Walk, learning about buying healthy and organic food and exercise demonstrations. There will also be games for kids, mini-races and flag football to keep them “busy” while you learn more about nutrition and fitness.

GET IN ON A FLASH WORKOUT WITH KIDAZZL

Where/When: Centennial Olympic Park/Fountain of Rings, 265 Park Avenue, W, Atlanta, Saturday, July 30, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Why go: Participate in Atlanta’s “largest Flash Workout” with KIDAZZL and others as part of the Fourth Saturday Family Fun Day program at Centennial Olympic Park. Work out and watch performances and win prizes.

TAKE PART IN A CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Where/When: The Marriott, 160 Spring St., NW, Atlanta, Sunday, July 31, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Why go: Supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at this all-ages event is worth the short trip over to The Marriott on Spring Street to celebrate “Christmas in July.” Models from all over the city, ages five to 55, in all shapes and sizes will be participating in a fashion showcase, showcasing Atlanta designers.

Pricing: $15: in advance/$20: at the door.


BE A ZOOKEEPER FOR A DAY

Where/When: , 800 Cherokee Ave, SE, Atlanta, Saturday, July 30, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Why go: Ever wanted to bathe an elephant or feed a warthog? Here’s your chance! Kids must be 14 or older to get it on this fun at the zoo.
