Community Corner

Coffee in the Park with Councilman Kwanza Hall

Councilman Kwanza Hall invites the community to celebrate the recent opening of Phase I of the Old Fourth Ward park and to give walking tours.

The park was designed through a unique partnership between residents, business stakeholders, city departments, and Atlanta Beltline, Inc.  It has an innovative lake that catches storm water runoff, a pedestrian boardwalk, natural vegetation, and a small outdoor theatre.

The park is located one block south of City Hall East (North Avenue) and one block east of Glen Iris Drive.  Vehicular parking is limited.  Guests are encouraged to walk, bike, or ride MARTA.
