East Lake Farmers Market Kicks Off Today
Collard Green Cook-off contest to be judged today.
The East Lake Farmers Market opens for the season beginning today.
And with that is the fourth annual Collard Green Cook-Off.
Three prizes will be awarded: the Amateur Prize is $100 and a certificate of honor, the Professional Prize includes a plaque plus major bragging rights and a chance to help a fantastic organization, and the People’s Choice Award winner will receive a custom trophy.

The cook-off is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The East Lake Farmer’s Market is located at the Corner of Second Avenue and Hosea L. Williams Drive.
