East Atlanta Neighbor in Need Holding Pumpkin Fundraiser

Money raised to help seniors who can't afford home repairs.

Neighbor in Need East Atlanta is holding a fundraiser every Thursday in October to help raise funds to further its mission.

The East Atlanta Community Association established the program in May 2010.

Its main goal is to raise money and complete emergency home repairs for seniors who don't have the financial resources to do so.

The program is modeled after the Neighbor in Need program which serves the East Lake, Edgewood and Kirkwood communities.

The NIN East Atlanta is looking to raise funds by selling pumpkins at the East Atlanta Farmers Market every Thursday (561 Flat Shoals Ave. SE).

  • Extra large pumpkins: $20
  • Large: $15
  • Small pie: $5
  • Decorative gourd: $3

All proceeds and donations will go directly toward the home repairs of needy neighbors.

We spotted her last night (Thursday) just before the storm hit and chased her down May to CliftonRead More then up to Glenwood, where we think she turned into that development under construction across from the school. The storm swept in, and we lost her ... she was clearly panicked. Been back on the hunt this morning with no sign. Please call or text us at 423-653-5636 if you spot her!!!
