CANDLER PARK — After two closings this summer, the Candler Park Swimming Pool reopened Aug. 12.
The reopening follows two vandalism incidents on Aug. 5 and May 31 that forced its closure.
In a posting on its Facebook page, the Candler Park Neighborhood Organization said it made a request to city officials for better lighting and camera installations.
Parks and recreation officials don't know how the vandals are accessing the the area around the pool, CPNO said.
