BeltLine's Piper Finds New Home in Virginia-Highland

ON THE BELTLINE EASTSIDE TRAIL — Piper, the BeltLine kitty, has a new home.

The ebony-colored cat, who has made a home out of a drainage pipe on the BeltLine, just off Angier Springs Road, had to go because of some grading work Atlanta developer Perennial Properties has to do.

But Piper tweeted us to say she has a new home, not too far away:

The news comes a day after she tweeted the need for a new homestead and her fans — from Atlanta to Florida to Pennsylvania to California — all offered tips, leads and offers to take her in.

But Piper was insistent on being near the BeltLine.

She got her wish.
