AWARE Fundraiser to Save Wild Animals

Sound Table in Old Fourth Ward to host Art for Armadillos.

by Hallie Lieberman

I am on the board of the non profit, AWARE (Atlanta Wild Animal Rescue Effort). AWARE is committed to the preservation and restoration of wildlife and its habitat through wildlife rehabilitation and education.

Please join us this Thursday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Sound Table, 483 Edgewood Ave. SE in Old Fourth Ward for the fundraiser, Art for Armadillos.

There will be music, a wine tasting, art for auction, ART BY THE ANIMALS for auction, and even one of the ambassador animals will be making an appearance!

Tickets are $20 and I have a few available if you are interested. In exchange for donating the space, the event will be cash bar.

If you can't make it, please show your support by liking AWARE's Facebook page.

Thanks.

We spotted her last night (Thursday) just before the storm hit and chased her down May to CliftonRead More then up to Glenwood, where we think she turned into that development under construction across from the school. The storm swept in, and we lost her ... she was clearly panicked. Been back on the hunt this morning with no sign. Please call or text us at 423-653-5636 if you spot her!!!
