The silent auction will include a wide assortment of items from local donors including restaurants, travel, art and more.

“What began a decade ago as a house party where everyone brought an unwrapped toy has grown into one of the ‘must attend’ events of the season where more than 4,000 people show up and have a good time while ensuring that underprivileged kids in our community have a gift on Christmas morning,” Hall said.

All contributions – toys and gift cards – will be donated to 24 non-profit agencies that serve Georgia’s children in need in time for the holidays. In the communities of East Atlanta Patch they include:

In 2003, a group of friends founded For the Kid in All of Us, the all-volunteer non-profit organization that produces The Toy Party & Silent Auction.

And since 2003, For the Kid in All of Us has distributed more than 35,000 toys and gift cards through The Toy Party & Silent Auction, 9,450 backpacks filled with school supplies and gift cards through Backpack in the Park, and raised more than $470,000 to donate to numerous agencies and organization serving Georgia’s less fortunate children.
