Dunbar Elementary receives grant from new partners

Dunbar Elementary School recently announced new partnerships with The North Georgia Central Labor Council and Georgia State AFL-CIO.

The Georgia State AFL-CIO awarded Dunbar a $5,000 grant. Dunbar Elementary was one of 20 schools in the country to receive this grant, which was written by fifth-grade teacher Remona Toomes. This four-year partnership will include participating in the Real Men Read Program, donating to the Boys to Men Mentoring Program, contributing to the end of the year trip, and providing materials for the classroom.
