Joint Neighborhood Crime & Safety Meeting - July 10, 2013, 7:30pm, ARC Building, Zoo Atlanta

Since the murder of bartender John Henderson in 2009, intown Atlanta residents in the neighborhoods surrounding Turner Field have rallied together in response to violent crime.

A spate of recent murders and robberies near the home of the Atlanta Braves, including the murder of East Atlanta resident Patrick Cotrona earlier this year, has reignited public outrage in the area.  Residents and leaders of Grant Park, East Atlanta, Peoplestown and other local communities have scheduled a joint neighborhood meeting designed to propose solutions to combating crime.

A joint communities crime and safety meeting has been scheduled on July 10, 2013, 7:30pm at the  ARC Building at Zoo Atlanta to discuss proposed solutions to crime.  Community, police and government leaders will be in attendance.
